Nine Stones Circle |
|
| Yes, this diminutive stone circle has well over 9 stones, the tallest of which is no more than 3 feet in height. Archaeologists believe that the 25 foot diameter circle may have been populated by as many as 40 stones originally. They also blame unknown grave robbers from past centuries for the topological disturbances in the middle. No known archaeoastronomical significance is associated with this small site. | |
